Aramith Premium – balls made of phenol-aldehyde resin produced by the Belgian company Saluc S.A., the world leader in the production of billiard balls. The set consists of 15 balls with numbers and one cue ball with the standard pool size of 57.2 mm.

Premium balls are the “golden mean” of the Saluc branded line of pool balls. Aramith Premium balls are made of modern third generation phenol-aldehyde resin. The surface treatment uses a special Vitrotech technology, which allows the balls to retain their new polished and shiny appearance for a long time. It also significantly reduces wear and tear on the fabric.

Aramith Premium is designed for intensive and continuous use and will satisfy the needs of the most demanding billiard players. Together with the reduced wear on the cloth, this makes Premium one of the most favourable offers for billiard clubs in terms of multi-year costs. Saluc, the manufacturer of billiard balls under the Aramith brand, which became the industry standard, was founded in Belgium in 1923. The company started producing billiard balls from phenol-aldehyde resin in 1950 and over the years has become a world monopolist, having patented the material and selling 80% of the world’s balls for all types of billiards: pool, snooker, Russian pyramid and carom. Today, Salus controls the entire production chain, from resin production to the sale of finished sets of balls of various levels.

The entire technological process is kept secret, but it is known that it takes more than 20 days from the start of resin production in Salus’ own chemical plant to the final polishing.
