Aramith Standard – Billiard balls made of phenol-aldehyde resin produced by the Belgian company Saluc S.A., the leader in the industry. The set consists of 15 numbered balls and a standard size 57.2 mm cue ball. Standard is the best price/quality offer in the Saluc range, aimed at the economical buyer.

Aramith Standard uses all the technologies used in the production of Saluc’s more expensive balls – Premier and Premium – so the consumer can expect the highest quality standards. Starting from the Standard level, a unique technology is used to apply the stripes and numbers: the balls are not dyed, the pattern goes all the way down, and the numbers are made of the same material and “pressed” into the perfectly polished surface. This gives perfect balance and uniformity of material and increases the life of the balls.

Aramith Standard balls are suitable both for the player who does not want to overpay for “designer” sets, and for use in clubs, especially where billiards is an addition to the basic services offered to the guests of the establishment. Standard balls are included in the accessories set.

Saluc, the manufacturer of billiard balls under the Aramith brand, which became the industry standard, was founded in Belgium in 1923. The company started producing billiard balls from phenol-aldehyde resin in 1950 and over the years has become a world monopolist, having patented the material and selling 80% of the world’s balls for all types of billiards: pool, snooker, Russian pyramid and carom. Today, Salus controls the entire production chain, from resin production to the sale of finished sets of balls of various levels.

The entire technological process is kept secret, but it is known that it takes more than 20 days from the start of resin production in Salus’ own chemical plant to the final polishing. During the production process and at the end of it, the balls are evaluated on a number of parameters: homogeneity of structure, perfect sphericity, perfect appearance – all these are the characteristics of Aramith billiard balls, which have allowed the company to achieve worldwide recognition among professional players, amateurs and billiard associations.
