The Aramith Tournament Champion PRO-Cup Snooker snooker balls are a line of professional tournament balls from the Aramith brand. As the official balls of all major snooker tournaments, they are ideal for training and playing professionals.

Aramith Tournament Champion PRO-Cup balls are subject to the highest quality control by the manufacturer, the Belgian company Saluc S.A., which uses high-precision methods to determine whether each ball meets the highest production standards according to a variety of parameters and criteria.

Balls with rich, deep and consistent colours have a perfectly round and smooth surface to minimise wear and tear on the cloth. The high quality phenol-aldehyde resin from which Aramith balls are manufactured gives them increased wear resistance and maximum durability. The centre of gravity is exactly in the centre of the ball.

A special feature of the Pro-Cup sets is the presence of six equidistant red dots on the surface of the ball, which make it possible to detect even the slightest rotational movement during the game, allowing professional players to make the necessary corrections to their shots and spectators to see all the nuances of the game.

The balls are approved by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA).

Saluc company, manufacturer of billiard balls under the Aramith brand, which has become the industry standard, was founded in Belgium in 1923. The company started producing billiard balls from phenol-aldehyde resin in 1950 and over the years has become a world monopoly, having patented the material and selling 80% of the world’s balls for all types of billiards: pool, snooker, pyramid and carambole. Today, Salus controls the entire production chain, from the production of the resin to the sale of finished sets of balls of various levels.

The entire technological process is kept secret, but it is known that it takes more than 20 days from the beginning of resin production in Salus’ own chemical plant to the final polishing.

During the production process and at the end of the line, the balls are checked for a number of parameters: homogeneity of structure, perfect sphericity, perfect appearance, all of which are characteristic of Aramith billiard balls and have enabled the company to achieve worldwide recognition among professional players, amateurs and billiard associations.
