Billiard chalk Kamui (Japan)
The new KAMUI 0.98 / 1.21 chalk from ENVISION company, which appeared in 2011, revolutionized the billiard world. Players have the opportunity to improve their technique, making more accurate strokes, avoiding kicks. The secret is in the extraordinary qualities of KAMUI chalk, consisting of the smallest fractions, which has a high degree of adhesion and increases the contact area of the cue sticker with the bit. Also, due to its high penetration power, this chalk stays on the cue sticker longer, so there is no need to chalk it before each shot.
ENVISION has spent eight years studying the nature of the phenomena that affect the predictability of ball movement after contact with the cue, conducting research and testing at the molecular level. Over 100 different chalk formulas were studied and tested during the last two years of novelty work. Formula number 98 proved to be a breakthrough in the search for ideal qualities (that’s why the name contains the index 0.98). The makers of KAMUI chalk have achieved something that no one else has been able to offer before.
But ENVISION did not stop there and continued to improve the KAMUI 0.98 / 1.21 chalk. In 2012, an updated version of KAMUI 0.98 / 1.21 chalk with “α” (alpha-alpha) in the name was launched. Thanks to improved production technology, no microscopic air bubbles containing moisture are formed inside the chalk. Previously, during the process of freezing and subsequent thawing of chalk, moisture destroyed its structure, which led to changes in playing characteristics. KAMUI chalk 0.98α / 1.21α is not afraid of freezing.
